    so let's all wallow in a subject I barely address, that of horror. What are you up to this year? going anywhere or watching anything in particular this halloween? Any movies planned, or parties? Me, myself will be having the usual horror film binge, and I may chomp a few choccie bars and dunk for the odd razorbladed apple.

    Not a huge fan of the Jason movies..... some are OK, others....... not so much. For my Halloween horror quota its Freddy all the way! He's always a welcoming kind of guy ...............

    Love it! I still think Freddy won though................... Would have liked to see another one actually. Think/thought a sequel would have been awesome. Liked some of the Jason movies, but my heart belongs to Freddy. I grew up on Horror movies, old old school, Frankenstein's monster, Mummy, Creature from the Black Lagoon etc. but Freddy was/is the first "new" monster. He comes in your dreams ...............................

    I dunno whether to be excited about seeing you pumpkins out Nikki, or worried cause they've got scary faces carved into them

    Really?! But Jason is such a stock trope?! Nothing original since, possibly, the first one. Mr. Krueger on the other hand is completely original, he's witty and will make you laugh as he slices your heart out! PLUS, he has 5, count em, FIVE razors/knives to Jason's one machete. No contest there imho. Double plus, Freddie's never been to space :uhoh:.

    Lol. I think i have actually scene it in a halloween anthology.! Though that may just be my fetid imagination. Freddy does not make me laugh. I like my slasher psychos as nuts as possible. No laughter, no lame jokes. Plus Freddy has being in more lame sequels than Jason. They've both had stinkers, but Freddy more so. He also doesn't use his knives often enough.

    If he cut out the jokes and sliced his victims into ribbons a lot more than the gimmick kills , I'd like him a lot more. He hasn't being to space, but then again Jason hasn't turned into a pizza, or a motorbike or a skeleton version of himself!

    I was a fan of both, though I probably haven't seen a Nightmare on Elm Street or Friday the 13th movie in ten years. Well, apart from that not-very-good Friday the 13th reboot.

    We all have own opinions, too bad yours are so silly ................. (joke)

    Halloween = Original + 11 sequel's

    Nightmare on Elm Street = Original + 8 sequel's

    As far as Freddy turning into a pizza ....... who DOESN'T love Pizza?

    The re-make/re-boot of Nightmare on Elm Street was pretty bad also. Robert Englund IS Freddy period.
