Just saw part 1 of this. As someone who's always had an interest in true crime I've long been interested in this case and in my opinion the police got the right person. I doubt this series is going to change my mind, but I'm interested in what the new few episodes are going to drag up.

I thought you'd made that title up before I looked it up with Google.

You should watch it. I swear at least three current/former members of the forum could be the main suspect

I feel that it's too disturbing a subject for me. I can't stand cruelty towards animals.

Given the cast, subject matter, creators and timing this should be an early contender for comedy of the decade, but.....it’s not.

It isn’t terrible but it’s bang average. I think I laughed out loud once and I’ve seen 4 episodes now. Shame

I'm interested in this documentary and have heard many positive reviews of it, however I am very nervous about seeing anything that would upset me too much and get stuck in my head. Is this a safe watch from that perspective?

Same. I watched it with the good lady and was hiding under a pillow for the first ep and relied on her to tell me when it was safe to look but... it doesn’t show much. You see the dead body of a cat (that really just looks like one of those stuffed taxidermy ones) and you see a live cat sort of half wrapped in sticky tape. That’s really as gruesome as it gets... the rest is just described and never seen. That said, it’s enough to make the average animal lover enraged!!! After episode one, you don’t see much.

It does show how truly messed up some individuals are.

I might give this documentary a try sometime then if that's as graphic as it gets. It does sound pretty interesting despite the animal cruelty stuff.

True Detective, 2 seasons of 8 eps each.

Theyre both great, but S1 with Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey is really well done. McConaughey in particular has a great performance as a young genius cop and then the older drunk. S2 with Vince Vaughn is good, but Im so used to him in comedies like Dodgeball and Wedding Crashers that he doesnt click for me as a mob guy.
