Each to their own I guess . Every horror is silly by definition
What about psychological Horror
Do you mean is it silly, or do I like it?
I suppose there are different levels of silliness and the film you posted the link to just looks too silly. I just wish there were more really good horror movies such as Candyman or Alien. You've seen more horror movies than the rest of us put together. Have you ever found a relatively obscure one that's as good (or nearly as good) as those two? Because I'm always on the lookout for new stuff to watch.
You need to be more defined in your request. Alien and candyman are two very different films. Alien being an isolation tale of potential terror in space, and candyman is essentially a surreal slasher with psychological qualities to it
I'm not really looking for something like those two. I'm just wondering if there are any relatively obscure horror movies out there that are really good and worth my time.
They look like people
Those should get you started and mess with your head
I'll probably give one a try next week and let you know what I thought.
How are any of these obscure? Funny Games, for example, was remade shot-by-shot in English. That's like calling The Ring obscure. But even worse.
You say that about every film I recommend. I don't think you have ever got back to me on a single one yet
Don't talk nonsense, Neil. I've watched a few films (and at least one TV series) that you recommended and gave my opinions of them on here. Here's what I said about Unsane for example:
I stand corrected
Good, now shut up.
Have you ever been unemployed?
How many kids do you have?
Why won’t you tell us your opinion on the matter?
I have two children. As I have said many times. My opinion is that the welfare state providing help for two is about fair. I also think it should be means tested, so only those with two kids who actually need the money get it. Of course, the trouble with means testing is the bureaucracy it incurs takes up more time and money to administer than just a standard flat rate for all does
You come across as a very selfish man @neilold
I like how people are having two completely different conversations (one about the welfare state, the other about horror movies) in the same thread.
Sums up @neilold ’s selfishness and skill at derailing threads
Actually, I was the derailer in this instance in my attempt to make the thread more worthwhile.
