There are calls to scrap the cap on benefits for more than two children. Do you think this is fair or not????

I have no opinion on the matter. So, what horrors have you seen lately, Neil? Any that you would recommend?

Another horror obsessive, you sicken me,but since you asked. Last horror I watched was midsommar, which was pish, before that it was puppet master the littlest Reich, which was awesome

I'm not a horror obsessive, Neil. In fact, I very rarely watch horror these days. I did however rewatch Candyman recently, which is my all time horror favourite, and I'm always on the lookout for anything else of interest in the genre. Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich doesn't sound like the kind of thing I'd like though.

Candyman is pretty good. Fee people discuss the thing about it that it could simply all be the woman though, as only she sees him, as far as I remember anyway. It's also got quite a surreal dreamy vibe to it to

The littlest Reich is said to be one of the most anti Semitic, tasteless, mean and unecesarily brutal films of last year, so it's all good

Well, imagine I had three kids on a decent wage because I believed I could afford to pay for my three kids...

But then I lost my job! It’s not the kids fault I lost my job... so thanks to our wonderful welfare system (which has its flaws no question), I can apply for jobs but my kids won’t be as affected!

This whole “people having kids for benefits...” really isn’t that true! The Daily Star might make you think that, but it isn’t.

So who's fault is it you didn't plan for the possible financial position of unemployment when you had a third child?

    Errr no ones?

I don’t think anyone plans to be unemployed with or without a family?

What are you suggesting - welfare should starve the third child because a parent couldn’t see into the future about job security?

If we all thought like you no one would have any kids...

No one plans to be unemployed. But the financial positivity of it happening should be assessed before you have a third child. I'm not saying the welfare state has no responsibility at all. Just that it's more the parents responsibility to consider the financial implications of the cost of more than two children than it is the welfare state
