    5
    3

I'm not sure I understand. What are we ranking the series in order of?

I'm assuming he means that we put the whole of RD in order of series we find the most boring to least boring and vice versa

'Boring' is not a word I'd ever use to describe Red Dwarf. Some of the episodes are unfunny and badly-written maybe, but never boring.

Oops, my drunken Sunday night posting makes no sense :?

I meant boring as in another boring thread about a list, 'cause I know some people get bored of just listing stuff.

It's actually a list of fave series, best to worst.

Series 10 has bumped series 1 from 2nd spot. Something no other series has ever done. 10 and 2 rule!

So, I meant the thread is boring. Red Dwarf boring? Never :-)

Boring? Don't know, but definitely a challenge...

    - III and II can be joint at the top because both are unbe-smegging-lievably brilliant.
    - Then V, probably because of Quarantine
    - X, which may or may not be controversial
    - VI, due to Gunmen
    - IV and I equal because my brains explode if I try to decide between them
    - VII - Not bad but nothing particularly amazing about it (except the dream sequence...)
    - BTE - Peculiar
    - VIII: though it wasn't a huge disaster, it certainly wasn't Red Dwarf

In that case (and I'm sure we've done this before, but never mind), my order from best to worst is:

    6, 5, 7, 10, 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9

This ranking is liable to change order at any time, however.

My apologies it was supposed to be '9' last, not '10'. 10 was alright. Sorry for that mistake.

Have a word with yourself!! How can someone who holds series I and II in such high regard (rightly so!) stick the arse-juice that is series X up there with them?

Here is the correct order, best first:

    Series I
    Series II
    Series III
    Series IV
    Series V
    Series VI
    Series VII
    Series VIII
    Series IX

    Series X *spit* *blurrgh* *spit*

Having had a think about this and how much I love series 1, I've decided to re-arrange my order. I've also swapped 3 and 4 around.

    6, 5, 1, 7, 10, 2, 4, 3, 8, 9
