Did anyone catch the stranger things series on Netflix! I watched both series' and enjoyed the eighties/it vibe to it. The one problem was that both series' went on too long and could have lost two episodes out of them easily. Any other fans???

Honestly Neil I wouldn't bother. I'm literally the only person on here who even vaguely likes you and until you apologise to Nikki I'm done.

I read somewhere that people tend to get gripped at the episode two mark, but I watched the first couple of episodes and was left completely ungripped and gave it up having concluded that it's the latest in a long line of overrated TV shows that the media and viewers go nuts about. I'd maybe like to give Stranger Things another try again sometime (but not right now as I'm currently watching season one of True Detective). Is the series really worth persevering with?

Probably not, for you anyway. It tends to drag to a conclusion. Like I said, it could easily have lost a few episodes off each series. The first season is the best of the two. If you like that eighties horror vibe, then it's worth persevering with. As a whole, I tend to loathe tv horror series, as they drag things out to the nth degree, bit this is pretty good.

I'm only making plans for Nigel, Ant. I'm also pleased that you also think my horror threads are pretty good

Now why would that be, Ant? You can check on Wikipedia. Orphan Black finished last year.

What has this got to do with stranger things? Besides being a strange thing in itself.
