Yeah, it's all wrapped now and like I said in another post I hope it won't be massively long to wait this year for its broadcast as I am getting a bit fed up of the latest Doctor Who series tbh. It's not very good and not one episode has been outstanding so far. At least the first Chris Chibnall series had 5 genuinely strong episodes - this has none at the moment. The fans who thought Steven Moffat was useless (I personally thought he was equally great as Russell T in a slightly different style) must think he is a genius now compared to this latest series 12 so far. Still that's enough Doctor Who, like I said I hope we see this feature length episode sooner rather than later - though the cast member illness might possibly delay it obviously - and the audience response on Richard Naylor's twitter account sounded promising and enthusiastic. So surely the quality will be there this time and no padding in a long-form RD show. I know one day there will have to obviously come a point where no more TV Red Dwarf is produced as it has been made for so long with the original cast/writer and it could even have been that last night was the last ever Red Dwarf filming ever. I know it is inevitable that it could be the finale - if not deliberately written that way (and that is probably a good thing) - but if the ratings stay good and the feedback remains positive then hopefully the smeg it will be and even if we never see any more full series (though you never know), we will see future, spectacular, 90 minute genuine specials! Whatever happens though, we are getting more new Red Dwarf material finally after almost 3 years away, it is now nigh on 32 years old and still going strong and that is fansmeggingtastic for now!
