Deffo another series : )
I can only echo what most have said; a film (cinema) would be great, but if it didn't happen at the show's peak, why should it now? So, it has to be a brand new, ad-free twelve-part series for me.
Ok Maybe the cinema movie is too much but I would like to see the movie in one way or another a graphic novel or book maybe a tv movie, but I would like to find out how it matches to the storyboards that I have been looking at for ages. But either way I hope they continue to do Red Dwarf In some form or another.
The first 4 (in the cinemas, and then some time later on TV) I would pick
For me its definately either 1. Red Dwarf Speicals or 2. A full Red Dwarf Series......
Either of those is good for me although in an Ideal word I'd like RD back on our screens fulltime.....
DO A NEW SERIES, for smeg's sake!!!!...
I live way over here in the USA, and my wife and I are ADDICTED to this wonderful show...but you can only re-watch the first 8 series SO many times (well, save for 'Quarentine', 'Smoke Me A Kipper', 'Tikka To Ride', '
Gunmen of the Apocalypse' and 'Blue'...can't imagine EVER getting tired of THOSE installments...
2. A full Red Dwarf Series
Lol, I watch at least EIGHT episodes every night
Sad I know, but I have watched over 15,000 episodes since the first DVD release (not including what I watch on TV). I seriously could never get bored with Red Dwarf. So don't lie to yourself...you watch as many as you want
PS, I have watched Red Dwarf BTE (including today when the DVD came) 96 times so far
BOYS IN THE DWARF!!!!
Wow. I've watched it twice on the telly. I watched it when it first came out, then the repeat, in case I missed something. I decided to leave it after that until I get the DVD so it's more fresh like. (I haven't ordered it yet, but I will soon.)
i would love to see the movie period. Seeing that on a huge screen would be incredible but over that i would like another series...with the viewing figures of BTE it can be a possibility...
More new Red Dwarf than i could possibly watch in my life time... and then some
a series 9 and 10 set before back to earth but after series 8
Thanks, it would keep me happy until dooms day, or until the Inquisitor comes visiting
Probably going to be a new series.... well, according to Wiki anyway:
On the 14th of June 2009 at the Red Dwarf 'Better Than Life' convention Chloë Annett mentioned that she had being approached by her agent for a new Red Dwarf series, although no alther details were given.
EDIT: Within minutes of me posting this, Wiki have had the comment removed... hmm... how odd...
Oh jesus, Zeus, Andrew even! Someone confirm or deny this or i'm going to die of internet hyperbole!
Well, I wasn't there so have no idea what's going on (or not), but someone over on the convention forum wrote ‘Finding out from Chloe, Robert and Danny that there’s going to be a new series!’. Does that mean anything? Was it just a comment taken out of context? Who knows! Time to cross my fingers I think.
I've read the convention comments aswell... and Andrew the comment was on the actual Wikipedia Red Dwarf page, but is no longer there as soon as I made my initial post on here and G&T. Just found the timing to be a little ironic...
EDIT: here's the history version of the Wiki page before removal
Now check the future section...
Hope this is true. this is the announcment I have been waiting for, for months
