As you probably know, Red Dwarf is 30 today!
Happy birthday to the best smegging show on British TV, long may it continue with new series and potentially a live show!!
I had no idea the 30th was today.
Happy birthday to my favourite TV series of all time. Please bring us some more episodes.
Is it the birthday for Orphan Black too?
Not until next month.
Happy birthday Red Dwarf.
If it's still going in eight years' time, it'll be the longest-running British sitcom ever.
Happy 30th birthday,
Which is the current one?
In fact, that article states that not only is Last of the Summer Wine the longest British sitcom ever, it's also the world's oldest. So Red Dwarf has the potential to be the world's oldest sitcom, which is pretty amazing.
I've read there's some show in Japan that runs for about 60 years...
Not exactly sitcom, but comedy. The longest running sitcom is really Last of the Summer Wine. Red Dwarf is longest running sci-fi comedy.
Lot of czech media talks about Red Dwarf today. I'm just watching news and expecting a mention of this anniversary. Czech Radio had interview with writer Ondřej Neff about it. Even czech Academy of Science posted about Red Dwarf on Facebook today.
Happy Birthday Red Dwarf. As a tribute to all you lovely smegheads and dwarfers out there I thought it would be appropriate for me to do one of my ventriloquism videos with Mr Flibble. This one is especially for Red Dwarf, we are kicking bottom.
Happy birthday Red Dwarf. Undoubtedly for me the finest tv programme of all time and amazingly still in excellent form three decades on. Thank you for all the constant laughs, iconic characters and genius sci-fi ideas. Here’s hoping for even more quality new series in this next decade not too far around the corner. Congratulations and thanks once again for all the good times.
Happy anniversary to Red Dwarf, the cast, the crew, Doug Naylor, Rob Grant, the fans and everyone else on here! Thirty years, 'ey? Where did the time go...
