No, not the band. I guess this thread is mainly for @neilold and me but anyone and everyone is more than welcome to contribute. In fact PLEASE do!

Exploitation movies. They come in all flavors and they have been around since the 30's at least so....... what's your favorite's? Any particular genre? Or any of them as long as they are cheesy and over the top? I like them all so my list will be quite all over the place genre-wise.

In no particular order here's a fair sampling of my favorites:

The Devils Rejects. Now..... I didn't really classify this as an "exploitation movie" but that's how its listed on many many sites. So. (and yeah, its probably my favorite on this list)
    Reefer Madness.
    She-Devils on Wheels.
I Escaped from Devil's Island. - The old Roger Corman one.
    Assault on Precinct 13.
    Faster Pussycat Kill Kill.
    City of the Living Dead.
The Last House on the Left.
    Pink Flamingos.
    Riot in a Women's Prison.
    Maniac.
Machete. - Loved it! Big stars in it too. Imagine that.
Machete Kills. - Like it better than the original! They didn't even bother putting a top on this as they went so far over it.
    I Spit on Your Grave.
Superfly. - Blaxploitation at its best.
Wild Ones on Wheels.- Something about these cheesy teenage hoodlum movies.....
    Elsa Fraulein SS.
    Hot Rods to Hell.
    Jackson County Jail.
    The Violent Years.
    Women in Cages.

What's some of yours? See any of mine you couldn't stand? Any you like? Any you've SEEN?

Seen and like them all except the machete ones. To this add ozploitation, carsploitation, hixploitation, bikersploitation, nazsploitation, which is my favourite genre, along with exploitation horror(duh) and hixploitation. I love most any from the 1930s up to the end of the slasher late 80s. I particularly like the old 1940s and 1950s delinquent movies. I also like some pinku and sexploitation is always good fun

Yeah, I love those 40's/50's juvenile delinquent movies. Biker movies too. Used to like the Nazi ones too but they have fallen way down my list, except maybe the ones that tie two or more of the genre's together i.e. Elsa Fraulein SS , SS Hell Camp etc.

Yeah, I've seen it and liked it. But .......... but ........... but.............@neilold I gotta ........ I don't ........... I can't ........ there's no way........ No.......... really?..........nah............. SALO?!?! That is the absolute sickest most twisted horrible movie ever made. I walked out of the theater about 3/4 of the way through. ONLY movie I've EVER walked on! And the theater served beer! (I still drank a little back then) We are talking about the same Salo right? Salo: 120 Days of Sodom?

Liked Hobo with a Shotgun too, as well as some of the others you listed. Haven't seen a couple and will be on the lookout for Lady Snowblood and Deadbeat at Dawn for sure. Q?

Q, the winged serpent, an awesome movie. Lady snowblood is the inspiration for the Lucy Liu character in kill Bill.

Salo is disturbing, but no more so than other movies or underground horrors I've seen. Try people behind the sun, begotten or a Serbian movie for equal levels of depravity. Deadbeat at dawn is awesome and deffo in my top 5 favourite exploitation movies, Jim van bebber is a pretty cool director

That Switchblade Sisters sounds interesting. Reform School Girls IS good as well as Death Race 2000. Don't think I've seen any of the others.

There all worth a shot. Tarantino himself re-released switchblade sisters through his own company which is called rolling thunder distribution. I'm pretty sure the eye patched girl in it is inspiration for Daryl Hannah in kill Bill also, either that or they call her one eye. Which is vastly overated in my opinion

You really ought to, though the first is a lot better than the second, especially if you like foreign Kung Fu movies

Yes I like the Kentucky fried movie. Remember the Catholic girls skit spoofing sexploitation movies, and that brave stuntman!

you can tell they worked on the airplane movies. There's a joke in it that I absolutely killed myself at the first time I saw it, and still do. It's one of the spoof sex film trailers, a voice says 'from the makers of deep throat' and you see a girl cleaning the hairs from between her teeth. It's so crude and so so funny, I'm killing myself laughing now just thinking about it

Yeah...... many great laughs in that movie. From the intro to Fist full of Yen : "all the worst people..... murderers, thief's, arms dealers, movie producers ......."
