It was a brilliant series , I have series 1 on DVD which BBC re released when Ray Brooks was in EastEnders, His character wasn't very popular in EastEnders so i think the BBC thought not to bother putting "series 2 and 3 on DVD.
I thought this Britbox was the ideal place to put out some of the BBC catalogue of stuff that they haven't put out on DVD. Seems not.

Well I never thought I'd meet a fellow fan on here. I remember the woman who played Mrs fox in dad's army was in it. He was also in the house of whipcord, and was accused of killing off Pauline Fowler in eastenders to, quite the CV!!!

I can't say I've played any of those games, but I have heard of one or two of them. What is Final Fantasy like?

Why do you keep ignoring cludeo? Is it poor taste or bad manners?

What sort of vintage do you consider "old-ish", also what sort of genres do you like?

Well, the current game I'm playing is X2: The Threat, which I think came out in 2003. Yesterday I was playing Syndicate, which is a 90s game. Another 90s game Civilization II is one of my all-time favourites. As for genres, I seem to like a wide range of game types.

I had a quick look at the game on Wikipedia, but I have to say that it doesn't seem my kind of game.

For 90s games I like the first couple of the Wing Commander Series, wasn't too fussed about the spin-offs and the latter two though, Freespace II was better in the Space Combat Flight Sim genre. All of those really need played with a joystick though IMO. Wolfenstein 3D still has a certain charm to it IMO, if you've played through all of that Spear of Destiny was the continuation, similarly there's Blake Stone and its sequel Planet Strike if first person shooters interest you.

Alien Shooter and its sequel and Zombie Shooter and its sequel are more recent games which are fun, I prefer the Alien Shooter games to Zombie Shooter but YMMV.

On topic, I've currently just finished the first video call with a friend, she drew my new avatar, whilst preparing an early dinner.

I still replay that one too, Wolfenstein 3D considerable predates it though, c.1992 IIRC
