Was a saggy old clothed cat, a bit baggy, and loose at the seams. For this he should be canonised

Old fat furry cat-puss, wake up, and look at this thing that I bring.
All I know is that it's some children's show from decades ago. I never saw it so I've no idea what it's all about.

It's about a girl called Emily who has a cloth cat that comes to life, along with some organ mice, a steampunk/clockwork owl and others, get up to hijinks, and go back to sleep, with the cloth cat yawning its head off. It was created by Peter Firmin, whose daughter played Emily, and was based in an area of Canterbury, Kent, for many years, before being housed in the Victoria & Albert museum in London, and back in Canterbury.
